SUSAN GREGG-SCHROEDER
Coordinator of Mental Health Ministries
After fifteen years as a teacher, Rev. Susan Gregg-Schroeder responded to her call to ordained ministry. She served as Minister of Pastoral Care and Spiritual Formation for thirteen years at a large urban church.
In addition to her work as an educator and pastor, Susan has published a number of books and articles. Her personal journey with major depression is shared in her book, In the Shadow of God's Wings: Grace in the Midst of Depression and the accompanying Group Study Guide.
Susan is currently doing workshops, retreats and conferences to help erase the stigma associated with mental illness in our faith communities. Susan is a certified "Pastoral Care Specialist" with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.
